In order to enable him to manage the risk from asbestos, the duty holder shall ensure that a suitable and sufficient assessment is carried out as to whether asbestos is or is liable to be present in the premises. The duty holder must ensure that the risk from the asbestos is assessed, that a written plan identifying where that asbestos is located is prepared and that measures to manage the risk from the asbestos are set out in that plan are implemented. Associated parties have a legal duty to cooperate with the duty holder, Complying with these regulations means the completion of an asbestos survey. By carrying out an asbestos survey, a risk assessment/ management plan can be produced which should prevent or reduce exposure. We are accredited by UKAS in accordance to EN45004 as an inspection body to carry out Asbestos surveys’ in compliance with MDHS 100 surveying sampling and assessment of asbestos-containing materials.
